If you do, then why not become a Shared Interest Ambassador?

The Shared Interest Ambassador Scheme is an exciting and flexible way to promote and become a part of the work of Shared Interest. By becoming an Ambassador, you have the opportunity to be as involved as you would like, and are able, to be.

As an Ambassador, you will be able to take part in a range of activities including:

• dispensing leaflets
• generating local media coverage
• speaking to groups
• staffing exhibition stalls

We will provide Ambassadors with a resource pack to support them in the range of possible activities, together with regular information and updates on the Society, the Foundation and the Ambassador scheme, as well as suggestions for promotional activities. Ambassadors will also be invited to training days and will be supported by the team at head office.

The Shared Interest Ambassadors will be the face of Shared Interest, and will put the personal perspective on the work of the Society and Foundation. This will help to raise awareness of Shared Interest, and encourage members of the public to find out more.

You can be flexible in your involvement - depending on how much time you want to commit, and how you feel you can best play a part in the scheme. We will work together with you to make this a success for everyone.
