Since 2004, we have been providing practical support to businesses in the developing world and our work has changed lives in really tangible ways.
We give much needed business training to allow individuals to create sustainable employment in the community.
These organisations are usually too small and new to trade alone internationally. Some businesses are aiming to become Fairtrade certified. Others are looking for more immediate support.
In Rwanda, we have already more than doubled the income of 50 handcraft businesses. The impact of this on the entire community was massive - over 86% of children now attend school and families can now afford two meals a day.
Swaziland will see over 3,000 people benefit from our training by 2013.
Meanwhile, our South Africa craft development project continues to thrive with in-country partner Fetola. Funding for our work comes from a mixture of grants, trusts and personal donations.
