Producer consultations

This year, we sent a social impact survey to
84 producers as part of our Monitoring and Evaluation
(M&E) research. We received a 44% response rate; 36
respondents were commodities producers.

We asked respondents about the working conditions of
their paid employees. Sixty-eight per cent of respondents
provide social security, health insurance and paid holidays.

It is important to note that many of the co-operatives we
work with also provide health insurance to the farmers and artisans.
