COULD YOU BECOME A SHARED INTEREST VOLUNTEER OR AMBASSADOR?

There is no minimum time commitment; however we do ask volunteers to maintain regular contact with us.  Volunteer roles can be adapted to suit the skills, experience and interests of each volunteer, but essentially you will need the following:

* Excellent communication skills

* Passion for Fairtrade and Shared Interest

* Ability to use initiative to identify opportunities to promote Shared Interest

* Ability to attend induction training

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING FOR SHARED INTEREST?

  • Profiles of existing ambassadors (web link)

I would definitely encourage others to become an ambassador.  By becoming an ambassador you get to know people who have the same values and think like you.  Being an Ambassador opens your mind to different ways of doing things.  You realise that ethical investment does have an impact in communities.
