Improving Livelihoods in Rwanda

Through the support of our donors, Shared Interest Foundation has been able to raise almost £5,000 to help improve the livelihoods of more than 600 women in Rwanda.

An important part of this fundraising was from our Crowdfunding campaign, and we would like to thank the following people for supporting us in this way:

  • Tracy Mitchell
  • David Bowman
  • Martin Kyndt
  • CP Motors

As well as several other anonymous donors. We are so grateful to all of you for your support as you have helped to make this training possible.

The training has had to be delayed slightly until July due to recent flooding in Rwanda, but by delaying it all 10 of the co-operatives will be able to take part. Through this training they will learn vital business skills and increase their ability to identofy new markets, which in turn will lead to increased sales for the co-operatives, and increased incomes for the producers.
