What is a Carbon Footprint?

Carbon Literacy is “An awareness of the carbon dioxide (in fact, all Greenhouse gases) costs and impacts of everyday activities, and the ability and motivation to reduce emissions, on an individual, community and organisational basis.”

Delivered by our certified carbon literate Partnership Manager Sally Seddon, this event aims to support our volunteers' understanding of what a carbon footprint is, what it is made up of, which factors are the most significant (in terms of contributing to the footprint) and how a carbon footprint (of an individual, community or organization) can be reduced.
