Project details
Beekeeping generates additional income by producing honey and other by-products, contributing to crop pollination and biodiversity protection, thereby increasing cocoa farm yields.
By combining cocoa production with beekeeping, this project will offer new economic opportunities, re-engage young cocoa farmers, improve producers’ living conditions and promote sustainable and environmentally friendly farming practices.
This project is delivered in partnership with RICE and cocoa co-operative CAYAT, with funding from the Chocolonely Foundation.
